Child Friendly Breaks

Child Friendly Breaks

From the moment they wake up till last thing at night there is plenty for children to enjoy at Bosinver! Kids (and big kids!) can try a variety of activities each day, making wonderful family memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

We aim to provide families with enough fun to keep everyone happy, whatever the weather.

Good morning

Waking up in the cosy cottage, there’s no rush to get ready! Adults can use the kitchen (complete with all utensils and cooking equipment) to whip up a tasty breakfast for the whole family. Child-friendly cutlery keeps things simple for the kids as they prepare for the exciting and magical day ahead!

Animal feeding

Once shoes are on and tummies are full, visit our farm for a morning with Farmer Dave and our animals! The cheeky chickens, ducks and pygmy goats love to make families giggle, whilst our sheep adore a hand feed. They can even help Farmer Dave collect their very own egg to have for lunch!

Explore

After meeting our farm animals, head to the paddock and say hello to our beautiful ponies, Rupert, Secret and Kizzy. Children can ride a pony, dig holes in the sandpit, play grown-ups in the Wendy House, zoom down the zip wire, drive a combine harvester or get messy and back to nature at a Wild Kids session. There are so many adventures waiting to be discovered that many of our guests find it hard to leave Bosinver farm!

Time for lunch

It’s time for lunch, so pack a picnic and a kite and head to one of our great outdoor play areas or our woodland and lake. Budding Murray’s or Beckham’s take a racket and ball for a few volleys on our tennis court or have a kick around in our fields.

Afternoon adventures

Once lunch is done, make the most of the beautiful countryside and explore one of our nature trails. Little and big explorers can run around, find the Gruffalo, or hunt for wellies!

Why not finish the afternoon with a dip in our heated pool? The sustainable and environmentally friendly pool is the perfect place to unwind and have a bit of fun!

Good night

It’s now time to go back the cottage. Relax and enjoy a selection of family-friendly board games in the comfort of your own cottage. As the sun sets, explorers, pony riders, farmers, and swimmers will be ready to fall asleep and dream about the fun they’ll have tomorrow …
