Introducing your cottage

If you are looking for a special place for a a large group holiday, look no further. With its 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 (plus cots), its 30ft lounge and garden hot tub, the Farmhouse offers the ideal space to bring together friends and family for birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations.  It is even dog friendly so you can bring all the family!

The cosy kitchen and the beamed ceilings of our historic Farmhouse ooze character and charm. The building – a listed Cornish thatched longhouse – dates from the 18th century, but the furnishings are contemporary and luxurious and offer all mod cons including Sky TV. 

The kitchen and living space

The handmade reclaimed pine kitchen is the heart of the house – with its huge antique Welsh dresser, large fridge freezer, island unit, electric oven, ceramic hob and country house Aga. Just imagine supper bubbling away whilst you pour the cook a welcome glass of wine before dinner. 

The antique oak refectory style dining table in the lounge has room for everyone – perfect for celebratory meals or for playing games. Just off the living room, there’s an additional small sitting room, often used by families as a play room. Glass doors lead out to the patio and garden – perfect for anyone seeking a bit of peace and quiet after a hectic day. 

Up a short flight of stairs there’s a further stylish bathroom on a mezzanine floor with bath (with shower over) and vanity unit. 

The bedrooms

The Farmhouse has two downstairs bedrooms – a cosy single and a double with its own en-suite wc, washbasin and shower. Upstairs there are four bedrooms – three doubles (including the master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite shower room) and a triple – great fun for children wanting to sleep in with friends or siblings. There’s also another bathroom with bath and shower for the other two doubles to share.

Outside space

Patio doors lead to the large, secluded garden – a beautiful spot for nights under the stars in the outdoor hot tub.
