Large Family Holidays

Bosinver is the ideal place to get together for a good old-fashioned large family holiday. Whether you’re celebrating a special family occasion or simply want to catch up and spend some time together with your brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents or children.

All our farm cottages are within walking distance of one another but none are overlooked and all have a country view. We have catered for weddings, family birthdays, anniversaries, and get-togethers with great success.

We have four bigger cottages perfect for larger family groups, Laburnum Cottage (sleeps 8), the Barn (sleeps 8)  the Farmhouse (sleeps 12) and our new eco-build, Lowen, (sleeps 8) with plenty of living space – big lounges and large tables for group meals. There are also listening devices available so you can put the children to bed and still keep an eye on them.

We know you won’t want to spend all your time together, so there’s space to be apart as well. There’s plenty to do here at Bosinver, whether you fancy challenging each other to a game of tennis, letting the kids off to explore the farm with their grandparents while you take a well-earned break, or organising a huge game of rounders or cricket in one of our fields.

Three generation holidays
Holidays with the grandparents can be a great opportunity for all the family to reconnect, particularly if you don’t live nearby or get the chance to spend time together very often. Whether you decide to book one large cottage, or spread out with two or more smaller cottages, there’s plenty of room to be together as well as space to do your own thing.

Catering made easy
Our excellent local pub, the Polgooth Inn is just a 15 minute walk (or short drive) away. They have a range of dishes on offer, including a large children’s menu and daily specials – and they’ve also recently won an award for their food.

The Polgooth village store bakes fresh bread, croissants etc every day and will happily deliver a food order to your cottage. Place your order online or telephone Dawn or David on 01726 73816.

Christmas and New Year
Christmas and New Year are becoming a popular time for family breaks. All our cottages are decorated, with Christmas trees included. All the family lend a hand with preparations and cooking and with space to roam here or down on the cliff path or nearby beach to work off the food excesses, it is a recipe for a wonderful break, illustrated by the large number of visitors who keep coming back for more.
