Making your way to Bosinver Holiday Cottages

We’re slightly biased but we don’t think there’s anywhere better to wander your way to than the depths of the Cornish countryside! There are a few ways to get here both by car and public transport so you can leave the driving behind for the duration of your holiday and see what Cornwall has to offer without a car!ย

Getting to us by car

Firstly, please do not use a SatNav for directions based on our postcode โ€“ it will send you elsewhere! But our What Three Words will get you right to our reception: bypassed.bookshelf.staysย

Travelling from the east โ€“ from St Austell take the A390 towards Truro. As you come up the hill take the sliproad signposted Sticker, Polgooth and Trelowth. Our driveway is immediately left โ€“ you will see our Bosinver sign.

Travelling from the west โ€“ from Truro take the A390 toward St Austell. Pass Hewas Water then continue along the main road up a long incline. Not long after the brow of the hill you will see a signpost indicating a turnoff left to Polgooth โ€“ take this sliproad and follow the bend around to the right and over the bridge. Turn left and the entrance to Bosinver is straight ahead.

Via public transport

Getting to Bosinver by public transport is simple โ€“ St Austell railway station and bus terminal is only 3 miles away (and Newquay airport is 20 miles away). There are usually taxis waiting outside โ€“ or book in advance with C&C taxis (award winning 100% electric taxis) on 01726 63538. If you keep your receipt we will even refund your arrival taxi fare from the station! Alternatively First Kernow has bus services which stop nearby โ€“ for timetables and to plan your journey see Traveline.ย
