Seals, dolphins and a variety of sea birds are frequently spotted, and if youโre really lucky, you might just spot a whale!
2. Take a trip down the Fal River
Take a trip on an Enterprise boat from Truro to Falmouth and relax while you soak up the views in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Youโll pass iconic maritime locations, historic houses and landmarks. Falmouth is the third deepest natural harbour in the world, and the docks are still very active, with all sorts of ships and boats coming and going throughout the day. The twin castles of Pendennis and St Mawes overlook the mouth of the estuary. Built by Henry VIII to defend the against the threat of an attack by Spain, theyโre even more impressive when seen from the water.
