Set in the old orchard, in the heart of our hidden valley, Pear is a lovely stone cottage built in a traditional style with views across the valley from the large bay window
- Sleeps 4
- Saturday Change
- Cot Available
Inside Pear is bold and bright with an open plan living room and kitchen/diner and a large porch/conservatory which is ideal for hanging coats and kicking off muddy wellies. The stylish oyster gloss kitchen is complemented by red Fired Earth tiles, electric oven with ceramic hob and a large modern fridge freezer.
The family bathroom has a sleek contemporary large shower, toilet and basin but no bath. We can of course supply a baby bath on request.
There are two bedrooms: one double, the other with two single beds, one of which can hide away and leave room for a cot.
Pear’s twin, Apple, is next door. This fruity twosome is ideal for two families, an extended family gathering or a group of friends who want to holiday together but still have their own space. Both of them are close to the leafy lane which wanders down to Polgooth village with its handy village shop and superb pub.
Best for: Couples or families with small children/toddlers or combined with Apple for a larger group.

We try to think of everything you might need for a carefree holiday – here’s details of all the things that we offer with no extra charge
“It really is a magical place! We have our most relaxing family holidays at Bosinver. The children feel at home instantly, this year we were instructed by our son, age 7, that we were not allowed to leave Bosinver until we had done all the activities on offer! The animal feeding is a lovely start to each day and your facilities mean that we can relax about the weather. We could easily spend a rainy day using the fabulous pool, excellent play room and great games room. The wild kids sessions and pony rides on top of everything else make it worth paying a bit extra compared to hiring an individual cottage elsewhere. We liked the new kitchen in Pear – really nice. The arcade machine in the games room was a hit with my husband and son. As the children grow older it is good to see that there are things for them to do so we can keep coming back.”
