The view from Laburnum seems to go on forever – right across the valley, the golf course, and almost to the sea beyond.
Turn the key on the front door to step into a wonderfully inviting space. The living room has a stunning, unusual design with a large circular living room window to maximise the view and the light. Sink into the sumptuous leather sofas and demand a glass of wine..or two!
The kitchen is superb, slate floor with red gloss units with granite work tops, an American style fridge freezer and a gas range cooker equipped with everything you might need to whisk up a family feast or breakfast fry up. A large antique pine dining table is perfect for family dining or card games. French doors lead from here to the patio extension of the circular window, (supported by granite gate posts we found lurking in a reclamation yard and gave a new life to) – a real sun trap with more views and patio furniture to sit watching the chickens and ducks pottering about, enjoying leisurely book reading or summer evening barbecues.
There’s a family bathroom with bath, basin, toilet and separate shower on the ground floor, plus a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds.
Upstairs there are two huge bedrooms – a double room with king size bed and seating area and a twin, both with en-suite shower rooms and fabulous views over the valley.
Best for: A group of friends or a large family gathering — can be linked with Hillside next door as a quiet retreat for Nan and Grandad!

We try to think of everything you might need for a carefree holiday – here’s details of all the things that we offer with no extra charge
“Thank you for making our youngest daughter Charlotte’s 21st birthday holiday so special. Our whole time here lived up to our expectations and so much more. Laburnum cottage is just perfect and in such a beautiful location. It’s very spacious and catered perfectly for a family our size. The grandchildren loved it and didn’t want to go home, and neither did any of us! You made us feel very welcome and always spent time talking to us as if we were the only guests, nothing here was rushed. I will certainly recommend Bosinver to anyone with a family, large or small. We will be coming back and we are so glad we have discovered Bosinver, a hidden treasure of Cornwall.”
