You know how it is. Parents always on your back telling you where you can go, where you can’t go and what you can’t do. Cooped up in the car getting driven everywhere. It’s so not like that here.

Run where you like. Climb the trees - build dens and camps. Meet Farmer Dave and help him with the animals (bet you find an egg when you go egg collecting). Have a pony ride or a go on the zip wire if you’re brave enough. Swim in our lovely heated pool or play on the pool table or challenge new friends at table tennis or table football in the games room. Hunt the hidden animals on our woodland walk, fish in the lake or spot wildlife and flowers on our farm trail – there’s so much for you to do here at Bosinver Farm Cottages.

Wild Kids Cornwall Club

We believe outdoor play is really important. As we're lucky enough to have our own woodland right here, we set up out Wild Kids Club Cornwall to help families get the most out of it during their stay.

American author Richard Louv believes that today's kids are suffering from what he calls 'nature deficit disoder' - a lack of connection with the great outdoors.  His bestselling book, Last Child in the Forest explores what haappens to both individuals and society when children don't develop the bond with nature created by outdoor play.

Our Wild Kids Cornwall Club is all about helping you (and your family) re-discover the natural environment. We run regular guided activity sessions in our woods - with enough free range for you to imagine your own adventures.
Be warned: you may get muddy!

We run regular sessions for kids and their families, which can be dependent on staff and weather. Check the board when you arrive to find out when the next session is.
Sessions may include the following:
Build a den in the woods
Camp fire building and marshmallow toasting
Make a bug house
Nature and wild life discovery
Bug safari
Journey Stick making
Woodland art

PS: We’re recently heard rumours that the Gruffalo’s been spotted amongst the trees down by the lake. Are you brave enough to track him down?

The sea’s not far away either, so bring your cossie - we’ve got the buckets and spades. Lush. And, because your parents won’t be worried about you, they’ll be relaxed too.

Sound good?
