Family Holidays in Cornwall
Happy children mean Happy parents - that's our philosophy here at Bosinver and judging from the smiles we see all around us, it works.
Bosinver's 30 acres of woods and meadows offer visitors room to stretch their eyes and legs in a beautiful rural environment. We pride ourselves on being one of the best family friendly cottages in Cornwall. Families arrive looking stressed and harassed, children in the car like coiled springs, anxious that their holiday choice is a good one. 24 hours later sees them relaxing by the minute. The chickens and ducks have called by the front door to say hello and the children soon make friends at the morning animal feeding, then off they go to explore and play. With woodland trails, a well stocked games room, swimming pool, tennis court, fishing lake and adventure playground, they're spoilt for choice!
All of our farm cottages are detached and none is overlooked, they are surrounded by fields and well stocked gardens and have plenty of parking alongside or nearby. Kitchens are well equipped for busy mums and good quality cots, highchairs and masses of other baby equipment are available for little ones. A freeview TV and dvd player plus a library of dvd's to borrow can be found in our dvd library in the dairy.
The village shop and pub are 15 minutes walk down a leafy lane in Polgooth village. "The award winning Polgooth Inn" offers excellent food and caters for children. Our local catering service can supply ready meals to give Mum a real holiday. There is a laundry room on site with commercial washers and driers, plus washing lines and plenty of undercover bike storage.

Bosinver is an ideal holiday destination for single parent families. It is family run and we make everyone welcome here. It doesn't take long for the children (and parents) to make friends at the daily animal feeding. You won't be spending time wondering how to entertain them - many parents complain that the children don't want to go out anywhere. They are just happy to stay here and enjoy the activities on the farm.
