We needed a place to relax and unwind and we found it! Within minutes of unpacking we felt at home. This is the first ‘well-equipped’ accommodation that really met its claim – even exceeded it with some mod cons that we don’t even have at home. The swimming pool was an ideal temperature, even at 8am and an overcast day and the games room was a bonus when the rain came – we had our first ever table tennis tournament.

Sincere congratulations on the upkeep and layout of the whole site, from our own garden to the lake and woodland walk. We even used the zip wire! We arrived feeling our age, behaved like children while we were here and are leaving refreshed. Just one thing we were left wanting...........More of the same place, as soon as possible. Many thanks to the whole team.

I came to Bosinver with my family and we all thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. I got back and showed my boyfriend this site and we have looked at all the cottages and we are now planning to come and stay at Bosinver at some point next year with his children. I know they will have a brilliant time and it gives me and my boyfriend the chance to unleash the inner children in us both! Top notch cottajes, beautifully kept gardens, extremely gorgeous, friendly animals and in great distance for everything that you could think to want to do on holiday!

Ps. I pretend that the morning farm visits were solely on behalf of my son . I of course am lying as I now realise that I have had every bit as much fun as him . this place brings out the little kid in all of us! Cheers.

Just needed to send a big thank you to all at Bosinver for making our holiday such a good one. We stopped in Higher Hill 12/11/05-19/11/05. The weather was fantastic and the accommodation was superb. The kids enjoyed feeding the animals, and I did two things I thought I'd never do - feeding ducks and having a go on a zip-wire! Big congratulations on your recent award, it's richly deserved. Hope to see you in the near future.

We have been trying to think of a word that sums up Bosinver - peaceful and idyllic just cannot convey the magic of the place where you seem to go into 'Bosinver time' relaxing as soon as you get out of the car on arrival. We shall miss the view, the peace and the wildlife so much next week when we return home. Looking forward to our 3rd visit.

A week at Bosinver has rejuvenated us in mind, body and spirit. The tranquillity has been awesome as has been the closeness with nature. Opportunities to feed the animals has rekindled childhood pleasures. We have managed to complete 3 (published) circular coastal walks - all of which have been manageable, very different and in their individual ways spectacular and challenging - a must for those who enjoy walking and getting away from the mundane, other people and enjoying the spectacular scenery in the autumn sunshine. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project we found to be life changing experiences in many ways and at the very least thought provoking. We have been able to watch a variety of wildlife from our window. A real treat for us townies! The friendliness, the welcome, the attention to detail - milk, cake, personal calls have rendered a return compulsory and a recommendation to family and friends a happy foregone conclusion. It has been a truly wonderful week. Thank you.

Arrived strung out with 2 small fed up children. Departed deeply relaxed and happy. Perfect holiday in safe environment for toddlers, who fell in love with the animals and didn't want to leave the farm. You should sell 'essence of Bosinver' for us to take home as medicine.

Poem for Bosinver

Dear Bosinver, how you are A place to while away the hours, With woodland views that stretch so far And lanes so full of flowers
And cottages so full of charm Surrounded by fresh country air, An idyll is Bosinver Farm I'd gladly live forever here.
To let ten thousand midnights pass And beauteous mornings come and go And violent autumns that would last Until the fall of winter snow.
And days of spring so full of sun Exciting people at the farm Then when the day is nearly done A roaring log fire keeps them warm.
At night with silence all around Asleep are horse and goat and fowl But through the trees there comes a sound: The hooting of an owl.
And as the week draws to a close I think you all should take a bow. I'm all packed up so I suppose I'll say goodbye - but just for now.

We didn't bother going to the Eden Project - we thought we were already there.

What's the difference between an egg and Bosinver? You can beat an egg but you can't beat Bosinver.

Dear Pat and David, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for such a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. We cannot express our thanks enough for accepting us into your community, considering that our clients display socially challenging behaviour. They have really enjoyed themselves and have been able to relax in these beautiful surroundings.

I enjoyed seeing the barn owl, kingfishers on the lake, buzzards overhead, the fresh air and the peacefulness of the place.

We'll recommend Bosinver to our friends and family, but not too many, otherwise there won't be room for us!

Apple last year, Pear this year and next year Rose - need we say more?

After many visits to Cornwall we finally found at Bosinver the 'home from home atmosphere' we had searched for.

Nirvana - after a long journey to Cornwall from London. The welcome was genuine, the accommodation so good we threatened to stay for ever.

Wonderful place - The Barn is just like home from home. I'd forgotten Cornwall could be so good. Why have I left this country for holidays for the last 10 years?! Pat and Dave would keep everyone in England if they found this place.

Unable to recommend where to go or what to do as the quality of this holiday is you don't have to go anywhere or do anything. To sit in the garden or wander around the farm was special enough for us.

Steven, Tina and Kyle

I'm not really a holiday person......... I'm one of those sad people who gets terribly homesick at bedtime! However, my holiday in Rose cottage was very different - I don't want to go home! I was very hesitant about leaving the haven of our home but when I climbed the steps and entered this perfect cottage, it took my breath away. Everything about it is wonderful - the cleanliness, the kitchen facilities, the view from the patio, complete with cows and calves, which my baby loved!
