Great family days out in Cornwall without a car

We’re delighted to unveil our new e-book of great family days out in Cornwall – 50 things to do without a car from Bosinver.

We’re passionate about the environment, and we want to do everything we can to minimise our impact on it. So we put our thinking caps on, and decided one of the best things we could do is put together our own guide of things to do in the area using public transport.

The e-book’s packed full of ideas of things to do and suggestions for fun days out for the whole family. There are places you can walk or cycle to from Bosinver, as well as ideas for days out by bus, train, ferry, or even horse power!

If you decide to leave the car here just once during your holiday, that’s one less car on the roads.

We’ve done all the hard work for you

For each of the ’50 things’ in the e-book, we’ve included instructions for how to get there, including bus routes, where to get off, and how to find out more information. (We’d recommend checking with bus or train companies before you set off, as routes can change – their contact numbers and website details are in the e-book).

And if you need any help or advice about getting around the local area without a car, or want to find out if it’s possible to get somewhere that’s not included in our guide, just ask. We’ll do our best to help.

A greener holiday?

Ever thought about trying a car-free holiday? Take a look at the carbon calculator and see how you can cut your carbon footprint by using public transport.

Don’t forget if you travel on holiday to Bosinver using the bus or train, we’ll pay your taxi fare to/from St Austell station.

ps: You can also get to all the places we’ve included in the guide by car too, so if public transport’s not an option for you, you’ll still find plenty of inspiration for great family days out in Cornwall.
