The ‘Quality of Life’ Veg Bag Scheme
People and Gardens support people with physical and emotional impairments at The Eden Project’s Watering Lane Nursery.
Their aim is to teach work and social skills to enable people to develop as individuals and to be able to enjoy those values which most of us take for granted. Participation, presence, choice, competence and respect have historically been denied to people with disabilities and yet they are fundamental when it comes to enabling someone to take control over their own life. By building confidence and self esteem we can do just that.
The ‘Quality of Life’ Veg Bag Project has been set up to provide real pay for real work for some of those we support. Non profit making, all the benefits are given to others.
