Disabled Friendly Holidays in Cornwall
Bosinver understands that every customer has different needs and we aim to make our cottage facilities available and accessible to all our guests equally, wherever possible. In some instances where this is not possible, we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
We have two cottages at Bosinver suitable for wheelchair users - Buddleia and Olearia. Both are tastefully furnished with wide access doors and bathroom facilities for people in a wheelchair. Access to both cottages is level and there is parking alongside.
Many of the other cottages are also suitable for people with limited mobility as they are single storey with ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, some with large walk in showers - all with grab rails and non- slip mats for extra comfort. We have a shower wheelchair and shower stools can be provided on request. Most cottages have parking alongside and easy access to their front doors.
A local mobility centre has specialised equipment for hire (eg motorised scooters and wheelchairs). We can help you organise this or you can telephone them for details - J&P Supplies
Bosinver is also a wonderful place to bring adults and children with specific special needs. It is a friendly, safe and relaxed environment and everyone is welcome to join in and interact with the animals at feeding time.
Our new play barn has a soft play area and the whole family can chill out there. We have bed guards and booster seats and take care to make everything as safe as possible, inside the cottages and around the farm.
