Cottage Facilities

Although you've come to explore the delights of Cornwall and may not spend too much time in your cottage we have made sure that each one is individually designed and decorated for your comfort and relaxation there's no mass production here and it all adds to the unique 'village feel' of Bosinver.

It's a tricky balance, making sure that old-style cottages still have the modern conveniences people rely on and retain their character and feel but we think we've done, it the many guests who return year after year must think so too!

Every cottage has access to all our onsite facilities including laundry room facility, games room, pay-phone (outgoing calls only), Sauna (at extra charge), BBQ's and our new broadband-equipped Internet Cafe.

The finer detail...

The cottages are fully carpeted with tasteful furnishings. Bathrooms are stylish with quality fitments. The bedrooms have 4'6" double or 3' single beds unless specified. There are no bunk beds. There's plenty of storage space with chests of drawers, wardrobes or hanging spaces. We'll make sure the beds are made up for your arrival. You just need to bring towels and teatowels, and yourselves of course!

All cottages have supplementary heating and are suitable for out of season breaks either central heating, convection or storage heaters together with a focal heat source gas, electricity or logs. You decide on your level of heating comfort, charged at cost by meter (£1 Coin) or reading at the end of your holiday.

Whilst we take every care to ensure the safety of all the facilities provided, we can accept no liability for any accidents suffered while using them. All facilities (except pool) are available from Easter to October but some may be withdrawn at other times.

No Smoking

Please note that Bosinver has a no smoking policy in all the cottages. We take great pride and care in maintaining a clean, fresh, welcome in the cottages for you on your arrival and politely ask that you to respect our wishes to keep them this way.

Cots and Highchairs

These are normally available if booked in advance free of charge. Bedding is not supplied for cots. Where cottages have stairs, there is a fixed stair gate at the top of the stairs but not at the bottom. We have some stair gates which you can borrow if required. We also have a supply of bed guards for children who have just moved up from a cot to a bed. Please request at time of booking.

Groceries & Supplies

Within walking distance is a local village shop (daily papers, milk, groceries, PO. etc). Groceries can be ordered in advance and delivered on the day of your arrival. Major supermarkets are a 10 minutes drive. Groceries can be preordered for your arrival. Please contact Dawn or David at Polgooth Stores 01726 73816 or Tesco Direct.

If you are ordering from Tesco, please type in your cottage name and address in the box, do not choose from the drop down menu. Also please do not organize your delivery earlier than your time of arrival.
