Cornwall has miles and miles (and miles) of beaches. Some are just on your doorstep and others are worth the trip to go and enjoy. Trying to put all of them on this site would be impossible so instead we've put down the beaches nearest to us, but for a complete list visit the Cornwall tourist information site where you can find all the information you need.
Porthpean Beach (St Austell Bay)
Popular family beach because of its safe bathing. Easy access on slight incline from the car park. Seasonal dog ban. Seaside Award.
Polkerris Beach (St Austell Bay), Fowey
Small attractive west facing cove in the shelter of a harbour wall. Access - Short walk to the beach from car park. Seasonal dog ban.
Portholland Beach
Two small beaches of grey stones and rocky outcrops make up beaches of these twin villages. Beaches covered at high tide. Access - from parking adjacent to beach Refreshment and toilets Disabled.
Pentewan Beach
Over half a mile of sand surrounded by Pentewan caravan park, who on paying for parking allow their facilities to be used. East facing. Access - flat easy access to the beach. Refreshments and toilets Disabled.
Par Sands Beach
Large expanse of firm sand with dunes. South facing beach which is popular in the summer. Access - the beach is easily reached from the adjacent car park. Refreshments and toilets Disabled access Seaside.
Charlestown Beach
Large, stoney very safe private harbour beach with Tall ships and childrens playground. Access - disabled access south side. Refreshments and toilets All year dog ban...
Porthluney Cove Beach, St Austell
Excellent family beach, south facing. Plenty of room for beach games. Disabled Access. Dog Friendly Beach.
Gorran Haven Beach (Dodman Point), St Austell
East facing beach of sand. Popular with families. Access - From car park down a slight incline. Dog Friendly Beach. Regarding disabled access we advise that you contact the local Tourist Information.
