Toddler Friendly Holidays in Cornwall

We know that it's the simple pleasures of adventures in the woods and fields that can make the best memories for little ones. We've even created a wild animal trail complete with statues of the real things (and prizes for finding the lot) that leads to the Polgooth Inn, a family friendly pub serving good local food. Exploring the trail is almost as much fun as making friends with the farm's own chickens, ducks and ponies on the daily animal feeding and egg-collecting rounds with Farmer Dave. If parents need some time out, babysitting's available and there's a host of good restaurants and pubs to try, including Jamie Oliver's new 'Fifteen' restaurant at Watergate Bay which is just 25 minutes away. Alternatively, for dining 'at home', Tesco Direct deliveries can be arranged online or, even better, delicious home-prepared meals and delivered to your cottage door.

We pride ourselves on being amongst the best child friendly cottages in Cornwall. Our Farm Cottages come equipped with a raft of high quality nursery equipment including cots, highchairs, booster seats, bed guards, baby monitors and fire guards. Each cottage has its own DVD player and selection of children's DVDs, a toybox plus a dishwasher and microwave to make life easier for Mum and Dad. Baby crockery, plug cover, stairgates and baby baths are available on request. Shared facilities include the outdoor heated swimming pool, all-weather tennis court, sauna, games room, BBQ area, laundry, Internet room, zip line, playground, cycle hire, fishing lake, nature trails and a farmyard full of four legged friends, including Secret the pony who offers rides.

Equipment Hire

As Bosinver caters very well for babies and toddlers we have as a by product, a problem with the large numbers of disposable nappies we receive to go to landfill each week. As a result we have linked up with Anita Hunt at www.homefromhomebabyhire.co.uk. She is a local mum with 3 children and has put together a range of baby equipment, including washable and biodegradable nappies, strollers and backpacks, which you can pre order and have delivered to your cottage, free of charge before you arrive. We have seen many of our guests arrive with tiny tots in cars bursting at the seams with masses of baby equipment and no room to move, so this facility should be a godsend!
