May Day and Spring holidays at Bosinver Farm Cottages

Easter came very early this year and put the pressure on us to have all the decorating and spring cleaning done for the middle of March. We managed it - just! The school holidays seem to have spread over 4 weeks with Education Authorities choosing different weeks for the childrens' holidays this year.

Bosinver Farm Cottages are back in full swing and it is lovely to hear the little children and toddlers enjoying themselves in the play barn and out on the play equipment in the fresh air and sunshine. This year we have a new addition to the playground with a Bosinver Combine harvester to drive, swing, slide and roll around on. The red tractor had been such a hit that we thought we would carry on the farm theme with the combine.

Apple's extension is now finished and is looking as if it has always been there. The extra room for kicking off boots and shoes and drying the dog has been welcomed by returning guests. New tarmac has been laid to allow more car parking and keep the farm tracks cleaner throughout the site.

The gardens at Bosinver are looking glorious as are the Great Gardens of Cornwall all around us. I adore the cherry tree blossom outside the farmhouse and when the blossom appears every spring I can't help feeling a warm glow at the prospect of being able to enjoy warmer, longer days outside. We are taking pets at Bosinver for the next few months and the dog ban on most beaches does not come into force unil the middle of May so if you fancy long, bracing clifftop and beach walks with your four legged friend, come and enjoy the holiday together!
