The sun is shining, the spring flowers are out and our lambs are skipping in the fields. It feels like Spring and we are not wearing our coats! It seems like the ideal moment to escape for a spring break in Cornwall before the crowds arrive. We are offering 3 nights for the price of 2 from now until the end of April (excluding the school holidays)
Most of the spring gardens are in bloom with masses of snowdrops, daffodils and camelias to delight the eye and the beaches are empty. Pubs and restaurants are welcoming you with open arms, with masses of high quality locally produced delicious food on offer. It is Valentine's Day soon, closely followed by Mothering Sunday and we are offering free wine and flowers for all of you who book and type in WINE as a result of reading this offer.
We have been busy as usual with our refits and upgrading programme. Pear has a new conservatory and Apple's is being built as we speak. The spring cleaning is nearly done and we are all ready to welcome the influx of guests for half term.
There have been a number of visitors here since Christmas and last week we welcomed our first Russian family. They took advantage of having Dave and the animals to themselves and daughter Xenia had a wonderful time feeding all the animals on her own.
I am off now for a holiday myself, cycling around Cuba, so will catch up with you all when I get back.
