The weather has been glorious for the past few weeks and the whole of Cornwall is looking at its best. The gardens are bursting with Spring flowers and the hedgerows are an artist's colour pallette courtesy of Mother Nature mixing bluebells, campion, stitchwort, celendines and primroses for us to enjoy.

Most of Cornwall's famous gardens are bursting with spring flowers sourced by the plant collectors of wealthy families from around the world. Heligan, Lanhydrock, Trebah and Glenduran resemble the foothills of the Himalayas with their spectacular shows of rhodendrons and azaleas in spectacular hues of orange, red, yellow and white.

It is quiet here in Cornwall and often happens when Easter is early but it is my favourite time of year with sunny days, light evenings and no parking problems. Bosinver is beautiful too and our gardens are a riot of colour for you to enjoy from your farm cottages window. Last year one of our visitors wrote:
"Why do we need to go to Heligan? - we thought we were already there!'
We have a few vacancies over the next few weeks, so if you fancy a short break in Cornwall to sample the delights - - gardens, beaches, coast walks or attractions - and have most of them to yourself, click on 'Availability' on our home page, check out what's available and type 'SO' in the promotion code during booking completion to get and extra night on your short break free of charge.
Look forward to seeing you soon,
Pat and Dave
