Merry Christmas Everyone
We have been having a lovely cold, dry spell of weather here in Cornwall for the past week or so - bitterly cold Easterly winds but dry and bright, with night skies full of sparkling stars. We have had guests here paying pre Christmas visits to friends and family or just escaping from the Christmas frenzy for a battery recharge and relaxing few days in one of our cosy farm cottages. It has been great weather for coast walking. Rough weather out in the Atlantic has produced big surf on the north coast and the surf has been spectacular. We have been out in wind and rain and thoroughly enjoying ourselves experiencing the power of Mother Nature and relishing a bowl of hot soup and glass of mulled wine at some of the finest beach cafes - Blue at Pothtowan, Windswept Cafe at Fistral, Newquay, Watering Hole at Perranporth, Gwithian Beach Cafe at Hayle to name but a few. Why don't some of you try it next year ?
As a special treat and a combination of staff Christmas party and thanks for helping us win the Gold award, twelve of us experienced a fabulous Cornish lunch at Jamie Oliver's' Fifteen' restaurant at Watergate Bay. The food was all locally sourced in Cornwall and it was fantastic - made all the more special sitting watching the rolling surf through the huge restaurant windows.

The festive season approaches fast and all our farm cottages are booked this Saturday. We are just about ready (famous last words) and everywhere is looking very sparkly, especially Rudolf who is waiting to welcome everyone at the office door. Hopefully we will have some time to start our Christmas at home on Sunday!
Our very best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year
Pat and Dave
